In 2012, while out walking my dog, I discovered the world of outdoor skating rinks. It was love at first sight!
For 10 years, I would put on my winter boots, and my rain boots, to walk my dog and photograph many outdoor skating rinks in Montreal and all the municipalities I visited!
We can certainly observe the passage of time and life, of hundreds of people and thousands of puck shots, of a certain violence that is transformed, at the whim of the beholder, into a certain poetry.
How?
By changing the angle from which we look at it, and with imagination. A bit like life itself...
